WORK SESSION
SEPTEMBER 6, 2007

The Akeley City Council met in a work session
Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 7:00 PM. Tom Moore called the
meeting to order. Members present were Tom Moore, Eric Sjolin and
Cliff Johnson. Frank Lamb and Brian Hitchcock were absent. The
Pledge of Allegiance was recited by the Council and attending
audience.
The Council discussed the options proposed at the
regular council meeting on August 8, 2007 regarding the sign located
on South Highway 64 since the adjacent property owner is opposed to
having the sign at this location.
The Council reviewed the General, Maintenance, and
Police Budgets for 2008. Denise Rittgers, Frank Thelin and Eric
Klein were present to discuss with the Council, possible changes to
the budgets in regards to their departments.
Motion made by Eric Sjolin seconded by Tom Moore and
carried to adjourn.
