Hello Everyone,

Attached (Summary AIS Laws of Minnesota 2011.pdf)please find a summary of the 2011 aquatic invasive species prevention legislation.  This is a summary of how the new laws related to prevention of aquatic invasive species (AIS) will apply boaters, property owners, service providers, bait dealers and others involved with the transportation of water-related equipment. I hope you find the summary useful.

As of this morning,  the Governor has not signed the bill into law, but we hear he is likely to do so today.  We will be keeping an eye out.

Thanks again to all of you for your efforts on the AIS bill.  This could not have been done without all your input, support and effort around the state.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Luke
